C# .NET Software Engineer 

We are looking for Mid to Senior level C# Software Engineers to help develop our next generation products. Our software is used by companies worldwide to simulate and control CNC tube bending machines in real time. You will work with a small team using C# .NET to create the planet's best 3D machine simulation, collision detection, and control software. This is a challenging, rewarding, and fun job for people who want to learn new technologies and play a major role at a small, successful company.

Primary Duties

  • Collaborate, design and write clean code
  • Interface with industrial devices including servo motors and robots
  • Assist with testing and deployment of new software releases
  • Support legacy code
  • Help technical support team resolve customer issues                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
Required Qualifications/Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Minimum of 3 years Windows Full Stack development
  • C# .NET preferred, other environments considered
  • Multi-threading

Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a bright, highly motivated Field Service Engineer with good people skills to install and service control systems in the field. Other duties include providing technical support to customers by phone and email, as well as revising electrical schematics.
This is a challenging, rewarding, long-term, and ideal position for the right person.

Required Qualifications/Skills
  • A.A.S. in digital electronics or related field
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
  • Hands on installation and wiring of electrical components
  • Talented at troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with computer hardware, Windows, and Microsoft Office

Helpful Qualifications/Skills
  • 1-3 years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical fields
  • Revise or create electrical schematics with CAD

Technical Support Specialist

We’re looking to hire a good human who wants to advance their career and learn new technologies. As a member of the Current Tech’s technical support team, you will act as a technical resource for our customers. You will become a trusted technical advisor and aid end-users in realizing their investment in their Current Tech products.

This position handles the delivery of first-tier technical support and the resolution of customer issues. Team members provide quick and friendly delivery of thorough solutions that enable customers to successfully resolve their issue. This includes being responsible for issues of moderate complexity and ensuring advanced issues are elevated to appropriate personnel and in a timely fashion. As a valued individual of our team, you'll develop and share strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of issue tracking and knowledge management tools. We are looking for a person with great troubleshooting skills who thrives in a team environment and approaches their job and challenges with a good attitude and as a team player.

 

Primary Duties
  • Provide Tier I technical support, responsible for basic customer issues
  • Escalate advanced support issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Document support inquiries and improve issue tracking and knowledge management tools
  • Occasionally assist with hands-on assembly, wiring, configuration, and shipping of products

 

Required Qualifications/Skills
  • Technical degree in electronics, computing, engineering, or equivalent experience in diagnosing and resolving technical problems
  • The ability to navigate challenging situations in a professional manner
  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Great troubleshooting skills
  • Good attention to detail

 

Helpful Qualifications/Skills
  • Experience providing direct support to external customers by phone, electronically, and face-to-face
  • Hands-on experience with software and computer hardware
  • Electrical and/or mechanical aptitude
